The top of this piece is a dull green-gray curved entrance to a dismal chamber. Standing in the entrance is the Devil. He is bright red with a menacing scowl. His angry eyes are white and his open mouth is white. Hi arms are abnormally long and twist and wave in three areas. He also has six fingers. A pointed tail juts up from the bottom of the canvas. In the background is a raging inferno of fire and smoke. Three tall, narrow gray rocks stand just above the flames. There is a green silhouette of a horned demon on each of these rocks. They have damned souls impaled on pitchforks they hold, and several souls are depicted falling into the flames. << Back to Oil Painting Gallery
